The goal of the Animal Services Division is to ensure the health and safety of the people and pets in our community by encouraging responsible pet ownership through education, legislation, and by providing incentives to sterilize pets.

Services Shelter unwanted, abandoned, impounded, and stray animals Enforce county ordinances Educate public on proper care and responsible pet ownership Responsible placement of adopted animals Humane trap placement for nuisance dogs Humane trap loans for unowned cats 24 hour emergency service, 7 days a week (emergencies only, please)
