Construction Board
(f/k/a Contractor Licensing Board of Adjustment and Appeals and Construction Code Enforcement Board)
Purpose
The Construction Board shall have the jurisdiction and authority to hear and decide alleged violations of the Land Development Code (LDC). The Construction Board shall also have such other enforcement responsibilities as specified by any other Code or Ordinance of Pasco County or as may be assigned by a resolution of the Board of County Commissioners (BCC). The Construction Board shall issue written orders regarding all decisions.
Membership
The Construction Board consists of ten (10) voting members which shall include the following:
- One general contractor;
- One residential contractor;
- One aluminum contractor;
- One roofing contractor;
- One air conditioning or mechanical contractor;
- One electrical contractor;
- One plumbing contractor
- At lease three consumer representatives as required by F.S. 489.131(10).
The members are appointed by the BCC for three year terms. A vacancy on the Construction Board may be filled for the unexpired term in the same manner as the original appointment.
Meetings
Meetings are held on the third Wednesday of each month at 9:00 a.m. Meetings are held on the west side of the county at the West Pasco Government Center, First Floor Boardroom, 7530 Little Road, New Port Richey and on the east side of the county at the Historic Pasco Courthouse, 37918 Meridian Avenue, Dade City.
