Development Review Committee

 

 

Purpose

The Development Review Committee (DRC) is under the direction and control of the County Administrator. The DRC serves to coalesce staff recommendations to the Board of County Commissioners (BCC) on proposed development and, where authority exists, to permit certain development activities as set forth more specifically in the County's Land Development Code. The DRC shall also review and decide all applications for development or appeals that are required to be heard by the DRC pursuant to the County's Land Development Code.

 

 

Membership

The DRC is composed of the following individuals:

  1. The County Administrator or his designee.

  2. The Assistant County Administrator for Development Services.

  3. The Assistant County Administrator for Public Services.

  4. The Assistant County Administrator for the Utilities Division.

  5. The Director of the Office of Management and Budget.

  6. The County Attorney.

  7. The Director for Zoning/Code Compliance.

  8. The Director for Development Administration.

  9. The Director for Engineering Services.

  10. The Administrator for Growth Management.

  11. One (1) representative appointed by the District School Board of Pasco County.

 

 

Meetings

DRC meetings are held once monthly at 1:30 p.m. Meetings are held on the west side of the county at the West Pasco Government Center, First Floor Boardroom, 7530 Little Road, New Port Richey and on the east side of the county at the Historic Pasco Courthouse, 37918 Meridian Avenue, Dade City.
