Impact Fee Advisory Committee

Purpose

The Impact Fee Advisory Committee (IFAC) was established by the Board of County Commissioners at the request of the development community to assist the County in the development, collection, and utilization of impact fees levied on new development within the County as a result of the expansion of infrastructure and capital facilities necessitated by new growth.

At the present time the Committee is not being utilized by the County; however, it has not been formally dissolved and is still in existence.

Membership

The IFAC is composed of ten (10) members who shall be residents of Pasco County. The Board of County Commissioners shall appoint two members each. Appointments are made based on experience or interest in the subject matter.

Terms

Members of the IFAC serve for a term of four (4) years. Terms run concurrent with the appointing Commissioner or the Chairman, whichever is applicable. Vacancies are filled as they occur for the remainder of an unexpired term. Members who are absent from three consecutive meetings without cause and prior notification to the Chairman may be removed from the Committee.

Meetings

The IFAC does not conduct regularly scheduled meetings, but meets on an as needed basis.
