Parks Advisory Board
PurposeThe Parks Advisory Board (PAB) was established by the Board of County Commissioners to see that reasonable control and regulation of all County parks and park activities are implemented for the protection and preservation of the parks' natural features and historic significance and for public use and enjoyment of the areas and facilities. The main objective is to provide maximum public use consistent with the preservation of the natural features and historic value. The PAB makes recommendations to the Board of County Commissioners regarding the dedication and/or acquisition of County lands and facilities to be used as parks.
MembershipThe PAB is composed of seven (7) members as follows:
TermsTerms for all members of the PAB appointed by the Board of County Commissioners shall run for the same duration as the Commissioner who makes the appointment.
MeetingsThe PAB meets as may be required. |
