About Us

Development Services manages the growth of Pasco County to implement the New Comprehensive Plan and to enforce the various Land Development Codes and Ordinances. To accomplish long-range planning objectives identified by the Board of County Commissioners and to coordinate with the State, Tampa Bay Regional Planning Council, and other agencies on joint planning initiatives. To work on special projects such as the US 19 Redevelopment Study and other special area studies. To manage and monitor impacts of larger projects such as Developments of Regional Impacts (DRIs) and Master Planned Unit Developments (MPUDs) on the County's infrastructure and public services.
