  • Leave accrual starts immediately
  • Accrual rate depends on position held and increases with tenure

  • Unlimited carryover each calendar year

Other Leaves of Absence

  • Medical Leave Pool. Up to 240 hours of medical leave if personal medical leave is exhausted (must join pool by donating 40 hours).
  • Funeral Leave. Up to 3 days in the event of the death of immediate family member.
  • Military Leave. Up to 17 days a year for reserve duty.
    Disaster Leave Pool. Up to 40 hours if primary residence suffers severe damage.
  • Administrative Leave. Up to 40 hours per calendar year for Professional and Management grade employees.
