What is Employee Relations?
We are the Personnel Department for the Pasco County Board of County Commissioners.
What if I have questions?
Please call (727) 847-8030 and one of our Personnel Technicians will assist you.
What does it mean if I am on an "outside" list?
That means you met the minimum qualifications and are eligible for an interview. If there is a vacancy, and your name is reached on the list, you will be contacted for an interview.
How do I qualify for a position if I have no work experience?
Through volunteer and community service experience?
Where can I go to complete an acceptable typing test?
Contact the Pasco County BOCC Personnel Department for an appointment at (727) 847-8103 or any Career Central One-Stop Center.
How do I contact the Department of Labor?

How do I file unemployment?
Contact the unemployment office at 1-800-204-2418 or 727 484-3400 or apply online at www.floridajobs.org
How do I apply for a job with the County?
You can view the current vacancies, job descriptions, and apply online by clicking here.
What is the status of my employment application?
You can check the status of an application by going to www.governmentjobs.com. Click on Career Seekers, enter your userid and password and the status of your application will be displayed.
When I checked the status of my application, it says "on eligible list", what does that mean?
It means that you met the minimum qualifications for the position that you applied for. Your name has been placed on the list for interviewing purposes. When we get to your name you will be contacted for an interview. The list expires 6 months from the date that it was created.
Can I submit a resume?
A resume can be copied into the text area or attached to the electronic application, however we must receive a completed online job application.
