Engineering services implements and supports the County's Transportation Capital Improvement Plan (TCIP) within the Comprehensive Plan for Growth Management. The Engineering Services Department (ESD) has been actively working toward compiling a portfolio of road projects ready to go to construction. For Fiscal Year 2007, 39 projects were in the design phase; 26 projects were in the acquisition phase; and 35 projects in the
construction phase.
