Effective November 22, 2010, there is a $2.00 charge to park at this facility. To pay the $2.00 fee, there is a fee collection pay station located in the park (follow directional signs) with an envelope giving instructions to place your money in the envelope and drop it into the pay station and hang the perforated part on your rear view mirror. Please have exact change as there will not be any staff available to make change for you.
If you prefer, you can save money and purchase an Annual Park Pass for $60.00 and is valid for a full 12 months of use. The pass is good through the last day of the month, one year from the date of purchase. This pass can be used at all eleven county parks that require this new user fee. You can purchase the pass at our Parks and Recreation Administration Office located at 4111 Land O' Lakes Blvd., Suite 202, Land O' Lakes, 34639 or you can download an Annual Pass Application from our website and mail it to our office to receive your annual pass via mail. Crews Lake is a wilderness park consisting of 113 acres. There is so much to enjoy at this beautiful park like the observation tower, bird houses, bike path, nature trails, botanical garden, a big playground, outdoor ampitheater and it even offers primitive camping. You can rent a pavilion or shelter for birthday parties, picnics or just a fun day out with family and friends. Contact our Veterans Memorial Park at (727) (727) 861-3033 to make your reservation. Pavilions are $40 and Shelters are $25. Primitive camping is $5/night and group site camping varies from $20/night to $40/night. You must fill out a reservation form which can be downloaded from our website.
You can even experience a train ride from The Central Pasco & Gulf Railroad, Inc. as they offer free rides on the 2nd Saturday of each month from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm. The train depot is located near Shelter #2 by the log cabin. The train can be reserved for birthday parties as well. The Suncoast trail is located near the park and can be accessed via public roads and sidewalks. You can explore maps for this and other trails in the area at www.floridagreenwaysandtrails.com.
Dogs are allowed at the park on a leash in designated areas. Please obey signs posted throughout the park.
