This Civic Center is near downtown Dade City off US 301 and it sits on one acre of property owned by the City of Dade City, however, Pasco County Parks and Recreation provides free programs for the youth in the area.  We also offer a Summer Day Camp program while school is out and even a Winter Camp during the holiday break.  During other holidays there are special events for Easter, Halloween and Christmas where the children can play games, jump around in our rental moonwalks and bounce houses and of course receive free candy, popcorn or snowcones.

There is outside basketball and volleyball available and a playground for the children to enjoy or just use the open space to create your game of kickball, tag or relay races.  You can reserve the large pavilion and picnic area for a fee and host a special birthday party or family picnic.  Reservations can be made at James Irvin Community Center.

Special classes are also held at this site that are taught by licensed instructors like Karate, Dance, Cheerleading, Zumba and even Line Dancing, however, there is a fee for these classes.  Check the Parks and Recreation main webpage calendar and for flyers on all the programs and events our department has to offer.
