Reduced fares are available, with appropriate ID, to:

* Individuals 65 years of age and older
* Individuals with disabilities

Paratransit

 

Door-to-door advance reservation service is provided throughout the County to those persons unable to access transit service because of a verifiable disability, environmental barrier, or distance from a route while persons residing within three-quarters mile of a bus route are required to use transit service. Paratransit services include:

  • Subscription service
  • Contract service
  • Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) service
  • Medicaid transportation service
  • Personal Care Attendants ride FREE on paratransit trips

 

REGISTRATION


Call the PCPT information number and an operator will determine your eligibility for subsidized rides on this service. Eligibility is determined through an application process, which begins with the operators' phone survey and may require you to complete a written application. (Click here to download the application.)You may also undergo an assessment to determine your ability to utilize transit service.

 

RESERVATION


Call the PCPT trip reservation number for your area between 5:30 a.m. and 7:30 p.m., Monday - Friday to schedule your appointment. ADA eligible persons may also call for reservations on Saturday. Reservations made one day in advance are required for most trips and can be taken up to two weeks prior to date of trip. Riders will be referred to the fixed-route service where appropriate.

 

PARATRANSIT ONBOARD RULES

  • Standing is not permitted when bus is in motion.
  • Riders should be ready 60 minutes before their scheduled pickup time.
  • Riders cannot change destination with the driver. Please coordinate changes with the reservation center only.
  • There is a limit of three standard-sized shopping bags per person.
  • Seatbelts must be used by all passengers.

 

The Public is welcome to attend the regular meetings of the Transportation Disadvantaged Local Coordinating Board.
