  1. Commercial loads are no longer accepted.
  2. Only normal household waste that would be placed at curbside for regular pickup shall be exempt from payment.
  3. EXCEPTIONALLY large loads of furniture or other waste (to be determined by the Solid Waste Attendant) will be charged the going rate, which is currently $56.70 per ton.
  4. Mixed loads requiring special handling will be accepted and charged at the going rate, which is currently $56.70 per ton; i.e., tires, white goods, scrap metals, etc.   For loads mixed with solid waste, the driver must separate the items for proper disposal prior to delivery to the facility.  The facility does not have sufficient room to separate the items on site.
  5. Yard waste is accepted only if it is bagged or bundled.  We do not accept yard waste over four (4) feet long or six (6) inches in diameter at this location.
  6. Special wastes are charged at $56.70 per ton.
  7. No asbestos is accepted at this site.  Please call the Pasco County Solid Waste and Resource Recovery Section at (727) 856 0119 for further information.
  8. Residential Customers Only - Car Tires:  Ten (10) per day limit as a result of site limitations, $1.00 each; semi-tires:  two (2) per day, $5.00 each; large loads of tires will no longer be accepted.

 

THE HOUSEHOLD HAZARDOUS WASTE CENTER IS AVAILABLE TO PASCO COUNTY RESIDENTS EVERY WEDNESDAY AND THE SECOND SATURDAY OF EVERY MONTH FROM 8:00 A.M.   2:00 P.M.    FREE OF CHARGE.

 

Individuals who refuse to follow the rules and policies of the Pasco County Solid Waste and Resource Recovery Section will be prohibited from the use of this facility.
