Watering Schedule and Restrictions

 

On August 25, 2009, the Southwest Florida Water Management District's Governing Board voted to return to the Phase III water restrictions.

 

Watering restrictions vary depending on your water source:

Violators will be subject to enforcement and fines.

 

In response to the water shortage declaration by the Southwest Florida Water Management District, Pasco County and all other counties and cities within the Tampa Bay Area must step up enforcement.  Pasco County Code Enforcement officers and Utility personnel will increase their joint efforts to enforce water restrictions.  No warning will be issued.  First violation is $130, plus court fees.  The second violation is $260 plus court fees.  The third and subsequent violations are $500, plus court fees and a mandatory court appearance.  (Modified 3/25/2009)
